Description

MIRIAM ISAAC

Miriam is a skilled and versatile radio and television presenter. Her personality shines through when presenting, which was particularly evident in the online series she fronted for Hansh, S4C, ‘Mwy Na Daffs a Taffs’ in 2022. Showing the likes of Gemma Collins, Luca Bish and Vick Hope around Wales, Miriam used her charm and quick wit to passionately boast about Wales in this series. She was also an Assistant Producer on the show so was in charge of scripting links and voiceovers, pitching ideas for segments and she helped to create all the social content to promote the show. Her understanding of Hansh’s audience was imperative for both the presenter and producer roles.

She’s a regular face on S4Cs youth channel, Hansh, engaging young audiences and showing versatility by fronting fun, fast-paced programmes, while also being able to deal with sensitive subjects with sincerity and grace.

She was the lead co-presenter on S4Cs flagship kids magazine show, ‘TAG’ on Stwnsh in 2017. She thrived in a live TV setting and relished the opportunities the show brought with it. From visiting famous sets to red-carpet interviews to giving some circus training a go – Miriam embraces every challenge and makes all her appearances entertaining.

Miriam is also adept at presenting on the radio. She presented the show ‘Haf o Hud’ on Radio Cymru, a 3-hour long programme with fun stories, music of all styles and chats with contributors. She is a regular guest speaker on Radio Cymru and recently filled in for Rhydian and Shelley for their Saturday show with co-presenter, Steffan Rhys Hughes.

Miriam thoroughly enjoyed presenting the podcast ‘Clic O’r Archif’ for S4C, a show where Miriam and her co-host, Iestyn Arwel would interview stars from beloved shows and films in the Welsh language. We heard Miriam and Iestyn take a deep dive into the scripts, costume choices, on-set stories and gossip, audience reactions and other fond memories.

Miriam’s warm and welcoming disposition puts her guests and contributors at ease when interviewing, resulting in a natural and comfortable watch and listen for the audience.
