Dylan Ebenezer

Dylan is an experienced presenter on tv and radio – in news and sport. He has been the face of the football coverage on S4C for over a decade. During that time he has presented live coverage from major tournaments – such as the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and also Euro 2016 + Euro 2020. He also presents the morning flagship radio news show – Dros Frecwast on BBC Radio Cymru. He excels on live broadcasts and his natural style has become popular with millions of viewers and listeners over the last 25 years. He has a wealth of studio experience – commentates regularly – presents podcasts and has even hosted a quiz show! The variety of work and experience means that he’s just as comfortable interviewing Gareth Bale or the most challenging politician. He won many poetry competitions in his youth and his scripting skills have also been in demand – writing dramatic opening montages for such stars as Mathew Rhys and Morfydd Clarke. He also voices his own work and is also the voice of The FAW Football Leaders online coaching modules – which is regarded as a world class course for aspiring football coaches, players and referees. A published author – Dylan has written many football books and is currently ghost-writing an autobiography for Ian Gwyn Hughes – the former Match of the Day commentator and FAW Head of Public Relations. He is married and has two children. He is also a reluctant dog owner… Everybody says that he always smiles – but his wife tends to disagree!
