Melinda Orengo

Biography

Melinda is a Latino American actress, singer and musician from New York, currently based in London. She has recently graduated the MA Actor Musicianship Course at Rose Bruford College and received her BA in Musical Theatre at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2020.

Melinda originally trained as a classical cellist from a young age before beginning her studies in musical theatre and acting.

Recent credits include ‘Cinderella’ (Storyhouse Theatre, Chester) dir by Hannah Noone, ‘Police Cops: The Musical’ (Edinburgh Fringe and Southwark Playhouse London); ‘The Tales of Peter Rabbit & Jemima Puddle-Duck’ (Wilton’s Music Hall).

Credits whilst training include a primary schools tour of Macbeth with The Primary Shakespeare Company, Harriett Jekyll/Flossie Hyde in an adaption of Jekyll and Hyde, Genevieve in The Baker’s Wife, Emma Goldman/Ensemble in Assassins and Ensemble in City of Angels.
