BiographyMaria has worked extensively in theatre, television and film in both English and Welsh during her career. She won the BAFTA Cymru Best Actress Award in 2000 for her role as Pauline in the multi-award winning drama ‘Care’ for the BBC. She played the regular character Debbie on the soap opera ‘Pobol Y Cwm’ for fifteen years before leaving to pursue new career opportunities. She is currently enjoying working as an actor alongside running her own business, MINI PT, a bilingual personal training service.
