Meilyr Sion is an actor and children’s author based in Barry. He has appeared on various television programmes in English and Welsh which include Holby City, Pobol Y Cwm, High Hopes, Teulu, Rownd & Rownd and The Maths Channel for CBBC. He has also appeared on many stage productions such as Disney’s The Lion King, Hamlet (Wales Theatre Company), Pinocchio and Everything Must Go (Sherman Theatre), Flora’s War (Theatre Clwyd) and Lucy Lastic in Jack And The Bean Stalk (Rainbow Valley Productions).
He’s recorded a number of radio plays for BBC Radio 4, Radio 3, Radio Wales and Radio Cymru along with cartoons for S4C.
He has written and published a list of children’s books for Gwasg Gomer, Atebol and Darllen.Co.
His puppeteering credits include Yn Yr Ardd, Dreigiau Cadi, Llew ap Blew, ABC, Newffion, Rhacsyn and Byd Tadcu for S4C.
