Johan Munir

Biography

Originally from Malaysia, half Malay/half Irish Johan studied theology at Cambridge University before going on to The Royal Academy of Music where he gained an MA in Musical Theatre. He is based in London where he also works as a spin instructor in the boutique fitness industry.
Theatre credits include: Bishop Bulos Galib in Broken Wings (Charing Cross Theatre), Husam in Rumi: The Musical (London Coliseum), Qasabji/Dsougy/The Journalist in Umm Kulthum & The Golden Era (The London Palladium), Ensemble and Cover Farris in Broken Wings (Dubai Opera House, Katara Opera House), Mario in It Happened in Key West (Charing Cross Theatre), Professor Bhaer in Little Women (Hope Mill Theatre), Vince in Tape (Drayton Arms), Matias in My Dad’s Gap Year (Bush Theatre).
