Hafsa Abbasi is a 24 years old Pakistani national currently based in London. She has an MA in Professional Acting from Drama Studio London and a BA in Media Studies from SZABIST University in Pakistan, where she majored in Film and TV Production. Hafsa’s credits include ‘Sevak’ (a web-series) and ‘Ishq Murshid’ (a TV Show) which were shot in Pakistan. In London, Hafsa has performed in ‘Daughters of Oedipus’ (Playground Theatre) and ‘The Lock Asylum’ (Courtyard Theatre).
Hafsa is fluent in Urdu/Hindi and Punjabi. She is a skilled contemporary dancer and had basic training of ‘Kathak’ (Indian Classical Dance). She is deeply passionate about telling women’s stories, exploring the genre of fantasy and sci-fi which relates to contemporary world matters.
