Gwern Phillips

Biography
Gwern is a farmer’s son, who is presently training in theatre and drama at the Atrium, South Wales University. Originally from Cardigan, a rural town in West Wales, he is fluent in both Welsh and English and has a passion for acting. During his school years he gained a vast amount of experience on various stages with his highlights revolving around theatre to include musicals. Without a doubt, the highlight of his early theatre experience was to be chosen to be part of the cast of the Urdd production of Les Misérables in 2015 and again in 2019 to be part of the cast of Cwmni Theatr Ieuenctid yr Urdd to perform Aberhenfelen. His television credits have included the S4C film Morfydd, the S4C children’s series, Lolipop, the Welsh soap opera, Pobl y Cwm and the S4C series, Merched Parchus.  Gwern is an avid rugby supporter and player. His other interest include singing, music and travelling.
