Gwern Phillips

Biography
Gwern is a farmer’s son, who has recently completed the MA Acting course at The Arts Educational Schools, London where he gained intense training in acting, movement, voice coaching and TV. Originally from Cardigan, a rural town in West Wales, Gwern is fluent in both Welsh and English and has a passion for acting. During his early years he gained a vast amount of experience on various stages with his highlights revolving around theatre and then during his MA course he futher gained vast experience on stage and screen whilst playing the part of Claudio in Measure for Measure, Fred in Sticks and Stones and Jamie in the final year production, Days of Significance.  Previously, Gwern graduated in 2019 with a BA Honours in Theatre and Performance at the University South Wales.

Gwern was part of the cast of the Urdd production of Les Misérables in 2015 and again in the cast of Cwmni Theatr Ieuenctid yr Urdd in their production of Aberhenfelen in 2019. His television credits include being an on-screen feature on the S4C programme Stwnsh Sadwrn and on-screen feature in the S4C production, Merched Parchus. Gwern is an avid rugby and football supporter and player. His other interest include singing, music and travelling.
