Georgie Lagden

Biography

Georgie is a London based actress who has recently received an MA in Musical Theatre from The Royal Academy of Music. Credits whilst training include Sarah Jane Moore in Assassins (dir. Bruce Guthrie), Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd (Chelsea Walker) and Konstantin in The Seagull (Jaz Woodcock Stewart). During her studies, she won the Toni V Fell Prize for Acting through Song and received mentorship from actors such as Imelda Staunton and Rosalie Craig. At her graduation, she was awarded for her work throughout the year with the Regency Prize for excellence.

Georgie was a finalist at the Stephen Sondheim Student Performer of the Year awards and the 2025 Spotlight Prize. An active member of the National Youth Music Theatre, previous credits include Gangster 2 in Kiss Me Kate (dir. Alex Sutton, Leicester Curve) and The Arbiter in Chess(Leicester Curve). Her love for acting and directing was solidified during her studies at the University of Warwick, where she performed in Improv Musicals and student led productions as well as producing/directing original work.

Outside of theatre, Georgie privately gigs with her folk band (Instagram: @thelagdentwins) at various events and venues across London and Oxfordshire.
