Gareth Watkins

Biography
Gareth trained at RADA, playing: Lussurioso (The Revenger’s Tragedy); Demetrius (A Midsummer Night’s Dream); Wangel (The Lady from the Sea); De Flores (The Changeling). He won first prize in the Master’s Degree annual drag race, combining choreography, lip-sync and stand up comedy. He directed The Bacchae – RADA’s 2019 submission for the Festival of Ancient Greek Theatre in Messene.

Gareth has also done workshops with The Wrestling School; Complicité; John Osborne-Hughes; and long-form improvised theatre with Mark Phoenix.

Theatre includes: Rhys Edwards in Triptych (DeOscuro/Wales Millennium Centre/Chapter Arts); Judas Iscariot in Jesu! (National Theatre of Wales); Lionel and Medina Sidonia in The Glasgow Citizens’ Schiller Festival.

Film includes: My Feral Heart (Dull Boy Pictures), The Secret Life of Michael Fry (Film 4/Endor).
