Gareth Jewell

Biography
Fluent in both English and Welsh, Gareth has starred in a range of productions, the bulk of which are televised. Beginning his career in S4C’s teen drama, ‘Pam Fi Duw?’ as the lead role, ‘Cwcw’; Gareth let audiences know why he was an actor to watch, with a strong and charismatic performance.

Gareth continues to grow as an actor, with notable roles including Owen Price, in the BBC’s ‘Baker Boys’, and ‘Baker Boys 2’, where he led the popular production to success. Since then Gareth has gained another lead role in drama series, ‘Gwaith/Cartref’, where he portrays recurring character Aled Jenkins, since 2012 to present. This role has allowed Gareth to challenge important story lines, including one based upon parental domestic abuse.
Gareth has embodied a further collection of characters over the years, alongside his previously mentioned roles. These range from appearances in productions including, ‘Keeping Faith’, ‘Father Brown’, ‘Alys’, ‘Merlin’, ‘Doctors’, and ‘Crash’; all of which he was received with critical acclaim. Gareth’s most recent role is as the recurring ‘DI Carl Roberts’, in the television production, ‘Bang’.
