Gabriella is a vibrant bilingual sports presenter and reporter, now in her third season as the presenter of ‘Total Sport Squad Goals,’ broadcasting nationally on radio for BBC Sport every Saturday and providing in-depth coverage of the EFL. Her versatility shines as she was chosen as one of the in-stadium hosts for Welsh Fire at Sophia Gardens during The Hundred competition. At Swansea City AFC, she captivated audiences on ‘Swans TV Live,’ presenting the live match-day show from the Swansea.com Stadium, featuring weekly special guests, including Swans legends Lee Trundle and Angel Rangel. Gabriella also previously led ‘Ospreys Insider,’ the monthly news round-up show for Ospreys rugby.
In the realm of sports reporting, Gabriella is a familiar voice on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Cymru, and a familiar presence in Welsh football as the presenter for FA Wales’ online magazine show ‘FC Cymru.’ She takes the lead on the FAW Cup Draw show, covering Welsh football comprehensively from grassroots to internationals. She was also part of their coverage for Wales’ first FIFA World Cup in 64 years, presenting the live show ‘Red Wall on Tour.’ A proud Welsh-speaker, Gabriella reports for S4C shows ‘Sgorio,’ ‘Prynhawn Da,’ and ‘Heno.’ Gabriella also covers the Women’s Super League (WSL) and Women’s Championship, conducting post-match interviews for the BBC Women’s Football Show and FA Player.
Adding to her extensive portfolio, Gabriella was recently the festival host at the prestigious UEFA Champions League Final in Trafalgar Square, where she brought her engaging style and sports expertise to one of football’s most celebrated events. Additionally, she has presented Judgement Day at Principality Stadium for WRU, hosted the FAW National League Awards, and managed the fan stage at the JD Welsh Cup Final. Her versatility extends to the 2023 Netball Superleague Season, where she served as the matchday host for the Cardiff Dragons, showcasing her adaptability as a host across various sports events.
Behind the camera, Gabriella’s skill set extends into production, where she has directed, produced, and edited impactful sports content. Armed with an MSc in Sport Broadcast, she notably directed, produced, and edited a documentary on Wales captain and Chelsea star Sophie Ingle for RedWall+, a career highlight that underscores her
commitment to women’s empowerment. Gabriella has also made significant contributions as a content producer for the Paralympics, World Rugby, Rugby Sevens, and Rugby World Cup 2023. Working behind the scenes, she has had the opportunity to create compelling content that engages and inspires fans from around the globe across all social media platforms. Additionally, Gabriella produces, edits, and co-hosts the successful podcast ‘She Has a Goal in Mind,’ focusing on empowering women in sports. Notably, the podcast received a nomination for Best in Women’s Football at the 2023 Football Content Awards, highlighting her impactful work in sports media production.
Gabriella’s influence and dedication to sports were recently recognised when she was featured in Cardiff Life Magazine as one of the game changers for sport in Wales in celebration of International Women’s Day. This accolade is a testament to her impactful contributions and her role as a prominent advocate for the development and promotion of sports for women. Beyond the sports arena, Gabriella’s accomplishments are equally impressive. Gabriella, crowned Miss Wales in 2019, represented the country at Miss World in London, where placed in the top 40, and was chosen to record a single at Abbey Road studios, and perform live at the Excel Arena. She holds the record for the longest-reigning Miss Wales, reigning for two and a half years due to the pandemic. Since 2014 she has been a volunteer and ambassador for Women’s Aid, actively supporting women and children who have been affected by domestic abuse, a cause close to her heart.
