Eilir Gwyn

Biography

Eilir is a proud bilingual neurodiverse actor from North Wales, who is passionate about accessibility in the arts and ensuring that all voices are heard and respected.

He trained at UWTSD, completing his BA Performance in 2018 and his Master’s degree in Theatre and Performance in 2019.

Eilir was the Richard Burton Memorial Prize recipient at the 2018 National Eisteddfod in Cardiff.

Eilir’s TV Credits include: Craith/Hidden (S4C/BBC), Itopia (S4C, Boom Cymru), Mewn Cyfyng Gyngor (Boom Cymru), Dal y Mellt (S4C,Vox Pictures), Maes B (Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru), Young Person’s Guarantee Advert (Welsh Government).

Theatre Credits include: Tylwyth (Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru), Curious Case of Aberlliw (Taking flight Theatre).

When not acting Eilir is often working behind the scenes as a proud member of the production team as stage manager or providing access to partially sighted or blind people as an audio describer, where he describes shows, art installations and buildings.
