Catrin became a professional actress in 1989. She has worked for various Independent Film Companies, Theatre in Education, Theatre, Radio, and Voice Overs productions. She portrayed ‘Magi’ in the Oscar nominated Best Foreign Film Hedd Wyn and played the role of ‘Gina’ in Pobol Y Cwm (BBC) between 1991-1998 where she was nominated for a Bafta Cymru for Best Actress in 1996.
Her film credits also include Janet staring alongside Bill Nighy in ‘Llety Piod’ and Dori in ‘Y Graith’ (S4C) playing ’Sian Caerberllan’ in 6 series of the Amdani, Catrin has performed with Theatr Bara Caws Theatre Company and Cwmni Theatr Fran Wen Educational Company. She has also worked on various radio plays for Radio Cymru and numerous cartoon voiceover for S4C.
Other credits include ‘Nerys Edwards’ in series 1 & 2 of ‘Gwaith Cartref’, Beth Powell in ‘Hinterland’(BBC) ‘Nesta’ in 35 Diwrnod Parti Plu’ (S4C) Delyth ‘Limbo’ (S4C) Portrayed Enfys in ‘Enfys 2’ (Theatre Genedlaethol Cymru/BBC)
