Arwel Davies

Biography

Arwel Davies began his career at the age of 14 in the S4C sit-com Hapus Dyrfa. Since then, his credits include television roles in Con Passionate, Emmerdale, and The Last Detective, among others. He is best known for portraying Eifion Rowlands, a regular character of the Welsh language soap opera Pobol y Cwm. In the 15 years of playing this character, Arwel has challenged important story lines, such as bisexuality, depression, and post traumatic stress disorder. Arwel has performed in several theatre productions with the most recent being the role of Rhys Thomas in the critically acclaimed play Tylwyth, written by Dafydd James. Arwelis a long-standing member of the multi-award winning choir CĂ´rdydd. Arwel is fluent in Welsh and English, being extremely skilled in using different accents in either
