Andrew Lennon

Biography

Andrew’s first performance experience came as a child actor in the 1980s. After receiving early inspiration from the highly acclaimed London teacher Anna Scher, Andrew went on to join the National Youth Theatres of GB and Wales, before training at Bretton Hall.

 

Andrew’s theatre credits include “Everything Must Go” (Sherman Theatre), “Sleeping Beauty” (Unicorn Theatre for Children), “Swarm” (Fio), “The Invisible Man (Ignition Theatre), The Enormous Crocodile” (Sherman Theatre), “Granton Street” (Fluellen Theatre), “Henry V” and “Macbeth” (Avant Theatr Cymru), “As Long as the Heart Beats” (National Theatre Wales) and “A Number” (Grand Ambition).

 

Film and Television credits include “Moniker” and “Strangers in the Night” (BBC Wales Playhouse), “A Mind To Kill” (HTV), “House of America” (First Independent), “First Degree” (BBC Wales), “Nice Girl” (BBC2) and “Bang 2” (S4C/Joio). Andrew is also featured in the forthcoming feature film “Protein” (Broadside Films). He was recently featured in a very successful commercial, teaching a WWE superstar how to brew beer!

 

Andrew found the time, parallel to his acting career, to have a 20 year career in healthcare- He is a learning disabilities staff nurse, and an experienced medical roleplayer.
