Dyddgu Glyn Jones

Biography

Dyddgu is a bilingual actress from North Wales. She is currently a member of the National Youth Theatre of Wales and the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. Her recent theatre credits include ‘Under Milk Wood’ and ‘Dal Gafael/Hold On’, both at the Sherman Theatre, Cardiff. Dyddgu is passionate about music, and is a highly skilled piano player. She grew up singing in choirs and playing various instruments. Dyddgu is a fluent Welsh speaker and enjoys performing in both English and Welsh. She has worked with various theatre companies including NYTW, Theatr Clwyd, NYT, Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru and Cwmni Frân Wen. She has performed in numerous venues such as the Sherman Theatre, Theatr Clwyd, the National Youth Theatre, Pontio Bangor and Y Galeri, Caernarfon. Dyddgu is passionate about theatre but is also eager to pursue her ambition to work on screen. In recent years Dyddgu has earned several screen credits including a music video for a pop group, a short film written by a prominent Welsh writer, an online theatre production and a promotional video for Eryri National Park.
