Sanja Gregorcic was born in Celje, Slovenia. She performed as a young talent in various Slovenian television, radio and theatre shows since she was 11. She studied Comparative Literature and Politics at Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. Well-travelled she continued acting in Slovenian theatres eventually moving to Los Angeles in 2011 where she attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts; receiving The Charles Jehlinger Award for Best Graduate Actress in 2013.
Sanja currently resides in London, UK where she founded international theatre company Outer Gaea. Her recent film and TV credits include a lead in short film Blindness selected for Cannes festival, Slovenian feature Šuplje Priče, Penny in award-winning short film The Pitch and can be seen on Netflix in originally Channel 5 series Borderline as Dasha Panchenko.
