Rhodri Trefor

Biography

Rhodri is a bilingual Welsh actor originally from North Wales. His most recent role is playing one of the main characters in the cult classic comedy series RYBISH (Cwmni Da) that’s about to go into the third series. His TV appearances include THE INDIAN DOCTOR, POBL Y CWM, ROWND a ROWND, TALCEN CALED, GWLAD YR ASTRA GWYN and TIPYN o STAD. He has starred in several feature shorts (BBC) and is a very experienced voice over actor having played a variety of roles on BBC Radio 4, Radio Wales, Radio Cymru, and cartoon work (S4C).

He is an accomplished theatre actor, having played leading roles with some of Wales’ most well-known theatre companies, including Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru (the Welsh-language national theatre of Wales), Bara Caws, Fran Wen, and Arad Goch. He played two of the leading roles in the production of Chwalfa with Theatr Genedlaethol which won the Wales Theatre Award for Best Welsh-language production. As well as being an established actor he is also a very talented tenor having been classically trained and an experienced soloist.
