MARICLARE CAREY-JONES

Mariclare Carey-Jones is talented Presenter and Broadcast Journalist, who has travelled the world filming television and radio shows.

Her great passions are wildlife, conservation and rural affairs, which is why she can currently be heard on BBC Radio 4’s Farming Today programme and on Country Focus for BBC Radio Wales. Recently she presented and produced Animal Sanctuary for the Made Television Network, and she has also fronted many news features on countryside issues for ITV Wales.

Alongside her television and radio work, Mariclare is studying for a Masters Degree in Wildlife and Conservation Management and she has a Diploma in Zoology.

She is also an Ambassador for the Marie Curie Cardiff and Vale Hospice, a supporter of Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary and she is a vocal campaigner for raising awareness of the ethical treatment of elephants in the tourist trade.
