Louise McLoughlin is a journalist, presenter and host, who has reported across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the U.S. Helped (in no small part, she’s sure) by her Irish/English accent, she started her career in Chicago as a radio anchor, before moving on to CNN in London.
She also has credits at NBC, Reuters, and VICE, among others.
She is also the creator and host of the podcast ‘You Look Like Me’, which examines issues around identity, family secrets, and donor conception. She approaches any topic she is interested in with warmth and curiosity, jumping at the opportunity to produce and script, as well as present.
An up-and-coming presenter, Louise has a proven record of securing interviews: from high-profile officials and experts, to everyday people with fascinating stories. Her interviewing style allows people to speak openly, while still getting to the issue at hand.
From covering terror attacks in Europe, to interviewing stunt pilots while upside down in a plane, Louise is driven by a need to experience something new and dig a little deeper. She is a lover of travel, pizza, whiskey, and strongly believes that the pizza in Chicago is just as good as New York;s. (She is prepared to die on this hill.)
