Lanna Joffrey

Lanna Joffrey is an Iranian actor/writer/spoken word performer born in Tehran, who has studied and worked extensively to critical acclaim in the UK and US. She has performed at Shakespeare’s Globe, The Gate, The Roundhouse, Hoxton Hall, Willow Globe, The Albany, The Old Globe, Playwrights Horizons, The Public and many other venues & festivals. She has received awards for her performance in the plays: Valiant1001 and solo play, Nine Parts of DesireValiant is also her verbatim play of women’s war stories that has received 5 star reviews in Edinburgh, New York City and London.

She holds a Masters in Acting from Royal Central School of Speech & Drama with Distinction and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting from Syracuse University. She is a member of The Factory and Barefoot Theatre Company.
