Biography
Juliet is an internationally selling, contemporary artist, known for painting portraits in a distinctive style, with vibrant, acrylic paint and bold, energetic brush marks, capturing the very essence of the subject and a moment in time, full of energy, life and joy.  Juliet is inspired by; pop culture, fashion history and the vivid, tropical colours of her childhood growing up in Papua New Guinea.

Juliet’s artwork is exhibited internationally and has featured in Vogue, Cheshire Life, The West Australian, the BBC and has been published by Bloomsbury in the Portraits for NHS Heroes book. She works with the iconic cast of GREASE from the original 1978 movie and is collecting celebrity clients.

Although she was a creative child, Juliet ended up following the corporate pathway, and had a 25-year career in Human Resources.  However, she always knew something vital was missing and that she had been denying her creative spirit for far too long. So, a few years ago Juliet starting drawing again and taught herself to paint. In 2021, she took a leap of faith and left her steady job to pursue her passion and dream to be a full-time artist. Now, happily immersed in a world of faces, colour and creativity, she has found her true purpose.

Juliet is based in Cheshire and works from her grade 1 listed studio at Brimstage Hall, on the Wirral, in the UK, with her assistant Cassie the snoozing labrador.
