BiographyIwan is a versatile and instinctual actor, capable of bringing depth and authenticity to a wide range of characters on stage and screen. A fluent Welsh speaker, he’s most recently landed TV roles in S4C’s critically acclaimed
BARIAU (2023),
35 Awr (2019), and the second season of
Dal y Mellt (or
Rough Cut as it’s known on Netflix). He is currently filming for a new S4C series
Hafiach, and will also be filming the second season of
Bariau later this year.
On stage, he has impressed in a wide range of productions – gritty educational productions with Theatr Clwyd (Justice, 2023), a heart-warming children’s puppet show with Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru and Theatr Iolo (Llygoden yr Eira, 2021 & 2019), and a family play full of grief and joy with Fran Wen (Wy, Chips a Nain, 2018).
Iwan has experience in voiceover work, and is also currently a Creative Associate with Theatr Clwyd.
