BiographyDrama Director and writer, graduate of Central School of Speech and Drama, early film-making career directing arts documentaries for the BBC. Returning to drama, Griff has recently lead-directed two seasons of award winning bilingual prison drama, Bariau (S4C). He has directed drama across a broad range of genres, including EastEnders and Holby City (BBC), Coronation Street (ITV including Christmas Day hour-long episode), Hollyoaks (CH4), Russell T Davies’s Wizards vs Aliens (BBC/Freemantle), Welsh noir detective drama Hinterland (BBC FOUR/S4C) as well as feature-length comedy, Beryl Cheryl a Meryl (S4C). He is also adapting and developing his award-winning novel (Tir na n -og) into a family feature screenplay.
