SAM COOK

Sam Cook is a television presenter and journalist, currently working at WalesOnline as a TV Writer.

Sam is best known for his expansive array of celebrity interviews, which have attracted great attention on social media. He is currently the host of the showbiz podcast, In the Spotlight, for the Reach plc group of publications.

Sam’s entrance into the media came in 2018 when he began working at Local TV (Cardiff). He has since worked with the BBC, ITV Studios and It’s My Shout, a platform designed to help younger people get into the creative industry.

Alongside his presenting, Sam has also acted in television shows – Murder by the Sea (CBS Reality), Dark Land (BBC Cymru Wales) and the BAFTA-nominated Iris Prize short film Involuntary Activist.

In his spare time, he is a member of the RTS Cymru Wales committee, who regularly organise events for those interested in television in Wales.
